We only hold the information that is necessary to deliver our services. The information that our members provide us with when registering for an account is held on our database. This information may include/will include any information you add to your profile (for example, your name, date of birth, email address, lifestyle preferences, profile pictures and user name).
We outsource our IT infrastructure to other UK based companies, in order to store membership data efficiently and securely. Your personal information may be shared with third parties in the following circumstances:

We store your data on an Amazon Web Services (AWS) secure cloud server, which is managed by our host 3SDSML Ltd and is fully compliant with GDPR and PCI Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Our hosting company have implemented physical, administrative and technical measures designed to protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. We do not store member’s financial information across any of our services. We use Stripe as a payment-processing provider within our app, which undertakes password encryption of credit card information for in-app purchases. Our shop uses a WooCommerce plugin to facilitate credit/debit card and Paypal payments. Transactions are handled securely by the responsible bank/financial service and hidden by our secure SSL certificate. An SSL certificate is a data file hosted in a website’s origin server. SSL certificates make SSL/TLS encryption possible, and they contain the website’s public key and the website’s identity, along with related information. Devices attempting to communicate with our server will reference this file to obtain the public key and verify the server’s identity. The private key is kept secret and secure. Transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure, so we cannot guarantee its security during the transmission process, which is undertaken at your own risk.
We keep your personal information for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. These periods vary depending on the nature of the information and your interactions with us. You can disable, or delete your account in the app using the account settings menu, or if you would like us to delete it for you, please contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
The Swalky app contains a ‘remember me’ feature which when selected will save email addresses for future sessions. By opting in users are providing their consent for us to do this. iOS users can use Apple’s ‘AutoFill Passwords’ feature to save their login details to their phone and prevent having to enter them for each session.
Data protection law gives you the right to access your personal information, to object to the use of your personal information for certain purposes. You can erase, restrict or receive a machine-readable copy of your personal information. You can access your personal information via the profile function of the app.
We will handle your request in accordance with the law. This means there may be legal reasons why we cannot fulfil all requests.
